Visitor Familiarization Form

This form is to provide you with information about the port and operations to ensure you know where you are going and have a safe visit.

Please read each section carefully before continuing to the next one. You will receive a confirmation email upon completion with a parking pass attached to be printed and visible in your windshield; this is for our staff to be able to quickly access your contact details in the event of an emergency.

Contact Information





  • 8 inch work boots laced up **
  • Hard hat
  • Reflective vest
  • Glasses
  • A mask may be required depending on current site conditions and operations (clean shaven is advised)
** visitor is required to provide, we can/will provide the rest of the PPE upon your visit for you

Arrival Instructions

  • Put 4 ways on as soon as you enter the Port
  • Speed limit of 15km/hr (always adhere to heavy machinery)
  • Park in the designated visitor parking area
  • Sign it at the scale office, obtain visitors badge and await contact
  • If proceeding to scales, please follow the yellow route on the map

Emergency Information

  • The designated muster point is located at the visitor parking (directly across from the scale building, please refer to the map)
  • The port has trained personnel for emergency situations
  • Defibrillator, eye wash station, fire extinguishers and first aid stations are all available throughout the property (please refer to the map for exact locations)

Departure Instructions

  • Sign out at main building and return visitors badge
  • Return any PPE borrowed
  • Return back to your destination safely and thank you for visiting Picton Terminals!
